On July 28, 2020, we launched the Gaimz Beta. Despite the fact that we are very proud of what we have achieved, we want to keep providing gamers around the world with the slickest UI design, the coolest website to interact with and more professional services because there’s always more to deliver on the platform. Hence, we know it’s time for a rank-up.
And yes, today we buffed the Gaimz website.
The primary objectives of the redesign for Gaimz were focused on improving the aesthetics, simplifying the content, and most importantly — providing our users with an easier way to learn about Gaimz features with a more intuitive design. Now let’s take a look at the highlights of the changes!
- The Homepage now has shown its simplicity and style, where only the core value of Gaimz and the CTA button is presented. We want to make sure that our concept is well-received by every visitor of the website, and also create a neat shortcut for our users to log in seamlessly. You can clearly see the featured streams, Top Buddy categories and explore more by simply scrolling down the page.
- The Buddies page still maintains its importance, but with a smarter information flow. You can now simply select the title of the games, and it will show you all the profiles that are available on Gaimz. The Buddy Details will tell you all the information you’re looking for when you want to join your preferred content creator in a match, coaching or Shoutcast session.
- Matchmaking allows you to join people in a lobby created by us. It allows for a Twitch Streamer to restrict the lobby to subscribers or followers. Currently, we’re supporting Dota 2 with very deep integration into Steam. We added Among Us as a new game combined with a Discord Bot, so that you can start the lobby in the game and have a communication channel (Text Channel & Voice Channel) for discussing the murders.
- Our Events pages allow partnered content creators to host their own events for multiple fans coming together. You can again restrict it to Subscribers or Followers Only, add a fee for fans to join or anything you need. The idea is for these content creators to meet their community members in a grouped situation. How you fill in this event is completely up to you, we provide you with the platform.
